Last fall, my wife and I were able to take a trip up to Maine and visit Acadia National Park as well as Portland. We went camping in mid October and couldn't have picked a better time as the leaves were in peak for their seasonal fall colors. Bright reds, vivid yellows and oranges, really added to our experience on the drive north and in the National Park. We got the chance to watch the sun set on top of Cadillac Mountain and also see it rise near Otter Cliffs. There is so much to do and see in this park that I hope we can one day return. Before heading back to Virginia we were also able to see the city of Portland and check out the Portland Head Lighthouse, downtown shops, and of course, eat some lobster rolls. Here are some of my favorite images from our trip.
