My in-laws were in town and we decided to all go up to the Snoqualmie Pass and go snowshoeing. On the drive up, the ground was completely bare and there was no sign of snow. We quickly became worried that this was going to end up being just a normal hike. But as we got closer to The Summit, snow started to appear. In fact, not only was it on the ground but it was also falling from the sky. We put on our shoes and then started the hike. It quickly became a beautiful winter day.
