Arizona in the Winter

Being able to escape the gloomy weather of the PNW and head south was great. I stayed in Phoenix for a week and also had a day to travel north and see a little of Sedona. The landscape of the desert amazes me especially the cacti thats found everywhere. I was able to take a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West which was very impressive. (Red seems to be his favorite color). I also got to see the Desert Botanical Garden near Papago Park and really enjoyed seeing all the different cacti and agave plants. If I had more time I would've gone on a few hikes. Maybe next time.

Turntable Kitchen - Seattle, WA

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Kasey and Matthew of Turntable Kitchen Turntable ( on a rare sunny winter afternoon in their home in Seattle. Turntable Kitchen is a website dedicated to food and music. They make delicious recipes using fresh and local ingredients while also pairing them with great tunes. They offer a lot of great things for food and music lovers alike.

"Turntable Kitchen is a place to come home to, travel with and turn up the volume on."

As a food and music enthusiast, I've been a fan of Turntable Kitchen ever since my wife recommended it to me a year ago. Recently I've been enjoying an record I received for Christmas from their SOUNDS DELICIOUS series, the band Yumi Zouma covering the classic Oasis album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Big thanks to Kasey and Matthew for inviting me into their home. Their beautiful kitchen featured in the photos below was recently renovated and you can read more about the details here:
